Thursday, September 19, 2013A BENGALI settler girl was reportedly raped by two youths with close connection with the ruling party in Longudu under Rangamati district, according to bartalive24.com.The incident occurred on the night of 7 September when the 17-year old unnamed girl went out to relieve herself.“Our neighbours Nobi Hossain and Siraj thrust cloths into my mouth, took me some distance and then raped me.” she was quoted by bartalive24 as saying.
A case was filed with Longudu police station in this connection on 17 September. However, the police are yet to arrest any of the accused.
UP chairman Abdul Gaffar confirmed the incident.
